“I grew up in Canada and I remember when I was young that my father would receive barrels of olive oil from Kefalonia where my mother is from and he would give out this special olive oil that could not be found in the local markets. This must be a Mediterranean tradition because my father-in-law who was from Palestine would do the same. It was a simple gift however it was also a very personal and precious gift owing to the exceptional quality of this extra virgin olive oil that came directly from their homelands.

I was feeling nostalgic and so I wanted to go back to our roots and carry forward this tradition. What started as my olive oil gifting I was then inspired to extend this tradition beyond family and friends. Thus, our venture into the world of gourmet food gift hampers was born—a tribute to the timeless spirit of generosity and the enduring bonds that unite us during moments of celebration and reflection.” G.N.
